Disable and enable right click on your computer.
Do you want to disable right click on your computer? You might want to do this to prevent your files and data from Child and any third parties that use your computer , as disabling right click will make it harder to rename , delete and tweak files and data in your computer. Here is a way to disable and re-enable right click on your computer.
Just follow following steps and the right click on your computer will be disabled.
Go to start and click run type “Regedit” in the box and hit enter.
A new window will open, in the new window search for “HKEY_CURRENT_USER”
Inside the left side panel and expand this in the following sequence.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER >
Software >
Microsoft >
Windows >
CurrentVersion >
Policies >
Explorer
Now in the right side panel right click and select “New” And “Dword value”
A new value will be made there with name “New Value #1” rename it with the following name:
“NoViewContextMenu” (please copy the word as it is and exclude the quotation mark)
Now double click on “NoViewContextMenu” and change the “Value Data” from 0 to 1.
Now you are set to go.
Just restart your computer and your right click will not work.
If you want to re-enable the right click latter you can just go to start > run > regedit and browse to the location specified above and change the value data of the “NoViewContextMenu” to 0 again.
